Terminology Guide
This guide explains the key terms used across the Xaqzevoruli platform and this website. Understanding these terms will make it easier to navigate the available information and communicate clearly with the support team.
The terms below are arranged by theme rather than alphabetically, so that related concepts appear together and can be understood in context.
Classification
The process by which the Xaqzevoruli system assigns an incoming record to a defined category. Classification is performed by the AI-assisted classification layer and is based on the attributes of the record, such as its type, associated signals, and structural characteristics. Classification is an organisational assignment — it does not change the content of the record or make any assessment of its significance.
Category
A defined grouping within the Xaqzevoruli classification structure. Categories are established in advance and reflect the types of information the system is designed to handle. When a record is classified, it is assigned to the most appropriate category based on the classification layer's assessment. Users can navigate directly to individual categories within the interface.
Arrangement
The process that determines the order and grouping in which classified records are presented within a user's structured view. Arrangement occurs after classification and considers the relationships between records, their recency where timestamps are available, and contextual signals that indicate which records are related. The arrangement layer creates a coherent sequence from classified records rather than presenting them in arrival order.
Structured View
The organised presentation of a user's classified and arranged information within the Xaqzevoruli interface. The structured view reflects the output of both the classification and arrangement layers. It presents records within their categories, groups related records visually, and applies the arrangement logic to determine the order of presentation. The structured view is what a user sees when they access the platform.
Record
A single unit of information within the Xaqzevoruli system. A record may represent a document, a data entry, a message, or another discrete piece of information depending on the context of the user's enquiry and the type of information submitted to the system. Records are the items that the classification layer assesses and assigns to categories.
Classification Layer
The component of the Xaqzevoruli system responsible for evaluating incoming records and assigning them to categories. The classification layer uses AI-assisted logic to make these assignments. It operates automatically and consistently on records that enter the system. When a record cannot be classified with sufficient confidence, it is flagged for manual review by the support team.
Arrangement Layer
The component of the Xaqzevoruli system responsible for ordering and grouping classified records within the structured view. The arrangement layer operates after classification and uses the signals available to it — such as relationships between records and recency — to create a logical sequence from a set of classified records.
Access Request
A formal enquiry submitted to the Xaqzevoruli support team requesting that access to the platform be prepared for the submitting user. Access requests are submitted through the Connect page. Submitting a request does not automatically create an account or confirm access. The support team reviews each request and determines the appropriate next steps based on the user's situation.
Presentation Layer
A way of describing what the Xaqzevoruli platform does: it presents information in an organised form rather than generating or verifying information. The presentation layer metaphor is used on this website to make clear that the platform organises and displays existing information rather than creating or independently validating it.
Manual Review
A process by which a member of the Xaqzevoruli support team evaluates a record that the classification layer could not assign to a category with sufficient confidence. Manual review may result in the record being assigned to an existing category, a request for clarification from the user, or the creation of a new classification approach appropriate to the record's attributes.
A Note on Terminology Across This Site
The terminology used on this website reflects the internal vocabulary of the Xaqzevoruli system as it has been designed and described by the operator. Some of these terms — such as "classification" and "arrangement" — have general technical meanings that may differ slightly from how they are used in other contexts. On this site, they are used specifically in the sense described in this guide.
If you encounter a term on this website that is not explained here and whose meaning is not clear from context, please contact the support team at [email protected]. We are happy to clarify.
